Most of you know we were living in an RV to keep expenses down. We got the chance to get a single wide (cheap) so now I'm faced with the opportunity to learn how to live a little bigger but how to keep expenses at the minimum I can live with.
Someone stopped by this morning to buy a Bring Back Simplicity book from me, and she commented that she grew up without air and refuses to have it in her house. She said she understood that air conditioning keeps the pores closed so you don't sweat out all the toxins and you lose some of the health you could have had. I don't disagree with her, but you don't want to be around me when I'm sweating and unable to get cool ;D My dear husband agrees with that. I wasn't raised with air either. Fans was all we had back then.
Mark and I are looking at how we can cut down on expenses here. There's got to be a way to keep it simple no matter where we live, right? I have to order a new reflector for my solar sport oven. It got left outdoors underneath something but too much sunlight hit it and fried the reflector that was folded INSIDE the solar oven. I didn't even think about it until afterwards.
