Iced Tea Syrup
10 cups freshly cold water 25 regular size tea bags 2 cups sugar (I don't use any sugar at all)
Bring water to boil. Remove from heat. Add the tea bags. Let steep for 15 minutes or until it is cooled enough to remove the tea bags. Remove bags, squeezing out water. Return to heat, add sugar (if desired). Bring to a boil & immediately remove from heat, let cool. Store in fridge. Keeps at least 2 weeks.
NOTES : If you use large tea bags, adjust recipe according. For each 1/2 gal. of tea use 1 cup of syrup. You can adjust according to your taste. I use a slight more than 1 cup.
