Whew!! just got the phone on at the new place here in the park and of course once I turned the computer on yesterday, had to do windows updates which took FOREVER until late last night!!!
Okay, everything is back to normal, or at least to the new normal which is pretty good.
We're still not completely moved out of the house, but have everything we can possibly bring to the RV already, so now what's left is either going to my parents home or to the dumpster. Hoping it won't take much longer to get this accomplished.
In the meantime, I've gotten well aquainted with a bicycle my father fixed up for me, and getting out on that several times each day. It feels wonderful to exercise again.
Oh, some kind neighbors, one turned out to be my cousin on my mothers side of the family, taught me how to fish the other day. I promptly caught three fish for supper from using cheap bread balls as bait. Now how frugal is that!! They say cheap hot dogs cut up and microwaved to make them tough work just as well.
This is about the cheapest way to live that I can think of in this area, and plenty of people live well this way.
On my birthday a friend took me out for breakfast at the Clock restaurant where I got my very first senior discount meal. I made the mistake of bragging that it was my birthday and at the end of the meal they brought me out a big slice of chocolate cake with ice cream and a candle and sang me happy birthday. That was the best birthday I've ever had!!
So happy to be back online and able to talk to everybody again!
Hugs,Elaine
