I have found too words that this program for the board has evidently outlawed. Wonder if it can be changed to not moderate our language here? So far I have found that when I was typing in the author of Passport to Survival, it would not allow the last name to be typed in properly. Her name is, and it won't look right because it won't be allowed to show properly, Esther thingyey Okay, then I went to post sugarfree recipes and noticed that in measurements it will not allow teasthingys or tablesthingys to be shown properly, so I had to change it to teasp and tablesp. Maybe I should start making a list of words the program will not allow, or try to find out if we can change it to everything is okay. Elaine

A standard abbreviation for tablespoon is T. The standard abbreviation for teaspoon is t. Can't help you with the name, though.
Just a test to see if this works.

ROTFL I guess somewhere there is a list of no no words...Can't imagine why one eating utensil would be included in it...it's not a bad word. Elaine

I don't think it's the eating utensil...I think it's the p**n part that you can't use. I have this word game called bookworm and it won't let you use c**n, but you can use all kinds of other not-so-nice words like snot...I guess they think it's derogatory. I was just thinking of a racc**n. Ha...got em that time!

Most forums have a "bad word" filter, so posts cannot potentially be offensive. Try checking the admin settings to see if there is a list of words you can modify. If it doesn't exist, then only proboards will have control over that feature.

I never heard of that "P" word before. I never heard anyone use it before, but I can imagine what it means.
